Replacement 6 Point Ratchet Suspension for OccuNomix Cowboy Hard Hat

The Vulcan 6 Point "ratchet" suspension is a replacement for the VCB200 Vulcan ratchet 6 point hard hats. The VCB201 Suspension features an ultra soft yet strong, super comfortable, 6 Point woven nylon web - crown strap system that acts as a rugged shock absorber, with a "dial your size" adjustable Ratchet sizing system to precisely personalize the fit. Included free with the Suspension is a detachable plush cotton terry, laminated over soft foam, Front Sweatband to enhance comfort and snug sizing without leaving marks on the forehead.

For proper inspection and maintenance, the Vulcan VCB201 Suspension includes a permanently embossed date of manufacture. The expected service life of a hard hat suspension is considered 1 year of regular use, or longer when used intermittently. Perspiration and hair oils can speed up the deterioration of suspension materials, so it is important to closely inspect the suspension for any cracks, tearing, or fraying, and ensure that the suspension system still holds the hard hat 1" to 1 1/4" away from the head.

The Ratchet Suspension is equipped with a ratchet mechanism, allowing for precise and incremental adjustments to ensure a snug and comfortable fit.
