Safety Head Protection / Skullgard Hard Hat
Equipped for environments with elevated temperatures, our Skullgard helmets have been rigorously tested. They can withstand radiant heat loads, up to and including 350°F, ensuring reliable protection. The smooth crown is designed for seamless compatibility with all MSA welding equipment. These helmets meet voluntary standards for reverse donning and high-temperature use, making them a versatile choice for various settings.
Crafted with a phenolic shell by hand, these Skullgard helmets are known for their exceptional durability, toughness, and quality. Suitable for industries like steel mills, welding, construction, open-pit mining, oil/gas/petrochemical refineries, rubber manufacturing, and steam tunnels. Their multi-purpose design ensures versatility across different work environments.
Our Fas-Trac III suspension is a top-tier suspension system designed based on extensive customer feedback. It functions as an improved ratchet suspension, eliminating pressure points at the rear with flush lug attachments. Offering three levels of nape strap adjustment, this helmet can be customized for a perfect fit. The ratchet comfort pad, contoured to the back of the head, enhances airflow and prevents hair-pulling, ensuring continuous wear with dramatically improved comfort.
Available in a wide range of colors and sizes, these helmets come with custom imprinting and striping options. Choose from a dizzying array of custom logo designs and any of 27+ different reflective and retro-reflective stripes, providing an unparalleled experience in hardhat customization.
Skullgard Caps meet all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (Class G). Fully third-party tested and certified by SEI, these helmets are guaranteed to provide the highest level of safety. Manufacturing date codes are molded into the underside of the shell’s brim for traceability, but it's important to note that the service life begins when the helmet is first used, not at the manufacturing date.
